North American Iron will convert reclaimed ore from Minnesota, into high-purity pig iron in Minot, North Dakota. With stranded natural gas available in Minot and direct rail connections to Minnesota’s ore deposits, the region is well positioned for efficient pig iron production.
Across North Dakota and Minnesota, the project will generate hundreds of high-quality, long-term jobs and help build what the nation needs most: a domestic, secure supply chain built by Americans, for Americans.
